To return a diamond or jewelry item to Eddie Lane's, follow our three step process:
1.) If within the US, call Toll Free 1-800-956-EDBS or email us at cindy@eddielanes.com for a Return Authorization Code.
2.) Place all the original packaging in the box, including the appraisal and the diamond certificate, if you have one. (The diamond certificate carries a $250 replacement fee.) For security reasons, please DO NOT write Eddie Lane's anywhere on the outside of the box.
3.) On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as: Less than $500: You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.*
More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached Eddie Lane's.* (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $500.)
Once your return is received, it will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. You will receive e-mail notification regarding your return or exchange within seven business days. ALL CUSTOM PIECES charged a 25% restocking fee. PLEASE read descriptions.
Any unauthorized, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that show signs of wear or have been resized (by a jeweler other than Eddie Lane's), engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.
* Eddie Lane's will not be responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.
